Electrical Apprentice

Job Description:

We are a growing residential and light commercial service company specializing in HVAC plumbing and electrical services throughout Indiana. We are looking for a motivated Electrical Apprentice to join our team and build a long-term career in the skilled trades.

Position Summary

The Electrical Apprentice will work under the supervision of licensed electricians to assist with installations repairs maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to learn the trade gain hands-on experience and advance within a professional company.

Responsibilities

• Assist electricians with installation of wiring outlets fixtures panels and electrical equipment
• Pull wire bend conduit and help with rough-in and finish work
• Troubleshoot basic electrical issues under supervision
• Maintain tools equipment and clean job sites
• Follow all safety procedures codes and company standards
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members
• Complete required apprenticeship training and coursework
• Accurately document work performed and materials used

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous construction or trade experience is a plus but not required
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Reliable transportation and valid drivers license
• Ability to lift 50 lbs climb ladders and work in attics/crawl spaces
• Positive attitude dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening (if applicable)
