Job Summary
Shulman Rogers is seeking a Litigation Attorney with 5 years of experience to join its Baltimore office. This role focuses on complex commercial litigation and construction law including disputes involving contracts mechanics liens delays defects and high-stakes business matters. The ideal candidate can independently manage cases from pre-suit through trial including motion practice depositions and discovery while contributing to case strategy and client advocacy.
Responsibilities:
- Handle all phases of litigation including discovery depositions and motion practice.
- Draft pleadings briefs and other legal documents.
- Represent clients in hearings mediations and other proceedings.
- Manage case strategy deadlines and client communications.
- Assist with trial preparation and collaborate with internal teams.
Qualifications:
- J.D. and admission to the Maryland Bar (DC/VA a plus).
- 5 years of commercial litigation experience with construction law preferred.
- Strong writing analytical and communication skills.
- Experience with depositions motions and discovery management.
- Ability to manage multiple matters independently.
