Generally no more than 2 weeks off in a contract. If the request is more than 1 week and is consecutive (no hours in the week) Vaya will add 1 week at the end of the contract. Generally all job postings will state that weekend rotations and some holidays will be required. Some units are stricter than others regarding holidays (ED allows for 1 holiday off). Floating : Travelers are the first to float. The traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units depending on the current staffing needs. During the traveler s assignment if the primary unit no longer has a need shifts will be re-assigned to another unit to complete contract.
