Job Title: Flux Core / Solid Core Welder or Fitter

Pay Rate: $18.50 $25.00 per hour (based on experience)

Job Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Flux Core / Solid Core Welder or Fitter to join our growing team in Fulton MS. This role is ideal for a skilled tradesperson with a strong background in welding and fabrication who takes pride in producing high-quality work. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment reading detailed blueprints and contributing to both construction and manufacturing projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG TIG FCAW (flux core) and stick welding on a variety of materials including sheet metal and pipe
• Read and interpret blueprints schematics and ASME codes and standards to meet project specifications
• Operate hand tools power tools and fabrication equipment such as plasma cutters and press brake machines
• Assemble and fit components accurately using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
• Safely perform rigging operations and assist with moving materials using cranes or forklifts
• Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment at all times
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet deadlines

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience in welding and fabrication preferably in a construction or manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of MIG TIG FCAW and stick welding techniques
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Mechanical aptitude and understanding of fabrication processes
• Experience with ductwork pipe threading or structural fitting is a plus
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
• Familiarity with machining soldering and general shop tools is beneficial
