TMD Staffing is looking to hire Shop Combo Welders (Pipe/Structural) in the Northwest side of Houston 77040 area.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

In-Person Shop Flexible to travel offshore

QUALIFICATIONS

• Have combo welding experience pipe and structural
• MUST BE ABLE TO PASS 6G WELDING TEST
• Read WPS prior to welding to know heat speed and electrical input (Structure WPS 115ABS Pipe WPS - 105ABS)
• Willing to work offshore able to legally travel outside of the US
• Able to work 40-84 hours weeks
• Back welding not allowed on structural test penetration must be clean and performed from one side only
• Must have 5 years experience

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Weld on pipe and structure
• GTAW (gas tungsten arc welding)
• SMAW (shielded metal arc welding)
• FCAW (flux-cored arc welding)
• Pass 6G test weld various components in flat vertical or overhead positions
• Weld according to engineering specs on process piping equipment and structural steel

PAY RATE

$30-32/hour in town (shop) $545-581/day off shore rate

SCHEDULE

Day shift flexible to work overtime and weekends
