What are we looking for
Cleveland Clinic London are looking to recruit a Billing Officer to join our Revenue Cycle Management Team with a competitive salary range on offer.
This is a full time permanent role with the following shift patterns:
Monday-Friday Hybrid work pattern with 3 days in office
09:00-17:00

You will support a culture of continuous improvement whilst maintaining high standards within the billing function. You will need to be a positive team player who is able to prioritise work and be flexible to adapt to changing priorities. You will need to have previous billing experience within a UK private hospital environment including submitting accurate invoices to patients private medical insurers and other funders.
What will your duties include
Provide and maintain an efficient billing service in line with billing agreements and department targets. This involves performing billing reviews claim submission dealing with account queries and other billing related activities
Review unbilled accounts produce and send/submit invoices for hospital charges and consultant fees to patients private medical insurance companies (AXA Bupa etc.) and other third-party payers
Investigate and resolve account queries with embassies patients private medical insurance companies and other third-party payers
Deal with account adjustments and refunds
Other duties as assigned
What we need from you
Minimum GCSE/High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous billing experience within a UK private hospital environment
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and Word (essential)
Proven knowledge and awareness of current legal confidentiality legislation (essential)
Experience with UK private hospital billing systems and Healthcode (preferred)
