Maintenance Landscape Foreman
In this position you will be managing multiple Maintenance crew leaders. You will be reporting to an Account Manager and will work closely with him/her on assigned properties. You will be the person responsible for the efficiency and safety of each Maintenance crew you oversee. Your primary focus will be on the quality of all Crestview Landscape Inc. properties assigned to you including reporting issues for each project with pictures and e-mails to the Account Manager. Critical for this position will be managing and holding individuals accountable for following Company processes and procedures every day as well as meeting performance expectations. This position will also need to embrace leading and inspiring the field staff in fostering a culture of passion dedication and loyalty.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
- Supervise direct and manage crews for maximum efficiency and quality of work.
- Provide on-the-job training of crew to maximize quality efficiency and safety practices.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
- Ensure all safety rules and Company policies are followed by all crew members.
- Partner with Safety Supervisor to ensure all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is worn by crew at times when equipment or job task specifies.
- Maintain comprehensive overview of each job to ensure the best possible profitability and quality.
- Perform visits to job site(s) at the request of the Account Manager(s) to aid and assist with client/property walk-through work order and/or service request process as needed.
- Complete daily/weekly/monthly site inspections of assigned properties.
- Provide end of day/end of job reports to Account Manager(s).
- Work with Account Managers to address customer issues and complaints immediately.
- Identify extra work on Maintenance properties prepare and submit such enhancement requests to Maintenance Account Managers for estimating and sales.
- Assist with employee reviews related to direct team members.
- Assist crews with time entry and issue management.
- Maintain clean and safe job sites at all times.
- Ensure safety procedures are followed and maintained.
- Promote and maintain a strong customer service focused environment and cooperative teamwork philosophy.
- Provide operational support to other departments as necessary.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Two (2) to three (3) years of professional Foreman experience and work history.
- Knowledge of acceptable safe work practices including wearing the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Proactive self-starter achieving high productivity with strong attention to detail; ability to work independently with little instruction; coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks set deadlines and complete projects in a timely manner is required.
- Demonstrate the highest level of professional and ethical conduct.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Ability to comfortably work with software and apps on a desktop/laptop iPhone and/or iPad.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint).
- Quick learner and ability to figure things out on your own.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (oral and written).
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information to effectively execute and achieve results.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
EDUCATION:
- High School or GED certificate required.
- Bachelors degree in Horticulture Landscape Architecture or related field preferred.
- Landscaping construction/installation industry experience highly preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this position the employee is regularly required to bend kneel walk crouch for long periods of time during the workday. The position also requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unaided repeatedly throughout the addition the employee must be able to work in all outdoor conditions: heat cold humidity dust mud etc
DIRECT REPORTS:
Laborers (3 to 4) per crew.

Handling of deliveries and pickups from suppliers clients or government agencies sometimes involving financial transactions or documentation.
Responsibility for vehicle maintenance and reporting which may include use of fuel cards GPS tracking systems or other sensitive equipment.
Foremen additions
Supervision of crews on private and public works job sites requiring leadership accountability and decision-making authority over workers.
Oversight of safety compliance and enforcement of OSHA and workplace regulations which directly impacts employee and public safety.
Access to confidential employee information schedules and project documentation which requires discretion and trust.
Authority over company property including assignment and control of tools materials and vehicles.
Interaction with clients inspectors and public agency representatives representing the company in official capacities.
Responsibility for daily reporting change orders and incident documentation which may involve sensitive data or legal implications.
