Job Title: Clinical Fellow School Supervisor Speech-Language Pathologist

Qualifications:
Hold a current CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
Hold a current Maryland SLP license
Have at least 9 months of post-certification experience
Complete at least 2 hours of professional development in clinical instruction/supervision
Responsibilities (CF Supervisor / Mentor)
Complete a minimum of 6 hours of direct observation and 6 hours of indirect mentorship per CF segment (approximately 12 weeks) totaling 18 hours of each across the full CF experience.
Conduct real-time observations of the Clinical Fellow during evaluations treatment sessions and counseling activities.
Provide indirect mentorship including:
Reviewing documentation (evaluations treatment plans progress notes)
Discussing clinical cases
Delivering constructive performance feedback
Coordinate scheduling with the Clinical Fellow to ensure all required clinical competencies are observed and assessed within each segment.
Ensure supervision activities are appropriately distributed across the segment (no more than 6 observation hours in a single day).
Provide ongoing guidance and support tailored to the Clinical Fellows performance and any applicable state or district requirements.
Conduct at least one formal performance feedback session per segment documenting progress and areas for growth.
