About the Role:
As a Research Assistant within our Anthropology team you will play a critical role in supporting the collection preservation and accessibility of culturally significant materials.
Working closely with the LIR Supervisor you will contribute to digitisation projects maintain research collections and support the delivery of high-quality information services to internal and external stakeholders.
This is a unique opportunity to build hands-on experience in applied research cultural heritage and archival practices within a purpose-driven organisation.
What You Will Bring:
You are organised analytical and capable of working with sensitive information in a structured and respectful way. You enjoy working across multiple tasks and take pride in accuracy and detail.
- Certificate IV in Library & Information Services (or similar) or 1 year relevant experience.
- Experience using databases records systems or collection management tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Understanding of cultural heritage archives or conservation practices (or ability to quickly learn).

- A base salary of $68986 15% superannuation paid on base and district allowance.
- Salary sacrificing up to $15900 Meal Entertainment and Holiday Accommodation benefit up to $2650 per year.
- Other benefits under our Enterprise Agreement include:
- District allowance of up to $4884 (DA2) per annum for individuals with dependents and $2678 (DA1) without dependents.
- Generous leave provisions5 weeks annual leave leaving loading 18 days personal leave;
- Paid Christmas close down;
- Upon completion of 12 months of service an Annual Airfarewith a net (in hand) value of $3177.
