We are on an exciting growth and transformation journey not the least within our Mobile Power Solutions business to which we are now recruiting Head of Finance & Controlling based in Pescara Italy (Forli or Milan are also possible locations) who will oversee financial reporting support strategic decision-making and drive business performance within our business.

About the position

As Head of Finance & Controlling for Mobile Power Solutions EMEA you will act as a strategic finance partner supporting the Chief Financial Officer and working closely with the leadership team to drive financial performance oversee the accounting function strengthen internal controls and enable data-driven decision-making across commercial and operational activities. The position reports the Head of Mobile Power Solutions in EMEA with a dotted line to the MPS CFO based in Sweden.

Your main responsibilities

• Take ownership of the accounting function for Mobile Power Solutions EMEA including overseeing and actively participating in the monthly quarterly and annual closing of the books. Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare comprehensive financial statements and other financial reporting packages in accordance with internal and external requirements. Analyze financial results providing clear insights to support both strategic and operational decision-making.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting for Mobile Power Solutions EMEA working closely with department heads across the organization to gather financial data and ensure accuracy reporting through group reporting systems to meet corporate standards and developing clear presentation materials to communicate assumptions key driver and result.
• Track analyze and report key performance indicators (KPIs) across MPS EMEA. Partner with business leaders in financial performance reviews and drive accountability toward targets.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and controls and regulatory requirements. Support internal and external audits and implement improvements to strengthen governance and the internal control framework.
• Identify and drive improvements in reporting and processes to enhance reporting accuracy financial performance and operational efficiency.
