Whats the Role:
Immersive Technologies is the global leader in simulator training for the mining and resources sector. Our products are sold worldwide and are all designed and manufactured right here in Perth. We are the largest manufacturer of simulators which we proudly transport in shipping containers to over 50 countries. We are currently seeking a hands-on reliable person to join our workshop team building highquality training simulators.
The role involves fitting and installing metal components into shipping containers as part of converting them into simulator units. The role is workshopbased and well suited to someone with experience in mechanical assembly fabrication or trade assistant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mechanical assembly and installation of metal components
- Drilling bolting fitting and general workshop tasks
- Use of hand and power tools
- Working from drawings and assembly instructions
- Assisting with simulator fitout and build activities
- Maintaining high standards of quality workmanship and safety
Skills and experience:
- Experience in mechanical assembly fabrication fitting or similar
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Ability to follow drawings and instructions
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable attitude and ability to work as part of a team
- Forklift License is desirable but not essential
