We are looking to add an Administrative Specialist II to our Environmental Services team in this role you will support a large department by performing a variety of duties.

If you have at least 5 years of relevant experience especially in a healthcare setting wed love to talk with you.

SKILLS KNOWLEDGE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • 5 years of relevant experience required preferably in a healthcare setting.

  • Experience with process improvement or lean philosophy preferred.

  • Requires intermediate computer skills with an emphasis on Microsoft Office applications.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Generates correspondence forms reports presentation materials and other written communications as required.

  • Receives and screens visitors and telephone calls; handles general inquiries. Uses independent judgment to determine priority and sensitivity of inquiries and responses.

  • Schedules / coordinates meetings conferences special events appointments and travel arrangements. Maintains assigned calendar(s).

  • Establishes and maintains filing systems. Orders and stocks supplies.

  • Assists with special projects and interdepartmental needs when appropriate.

  • Requires critical thinking skills decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

  • Requires demonstrated proficiency in multi-tasking flexibility time management organization attention to detail and professionalism.

  • Must be able to work equally well independently and in a team environment.
