We are currently hiring aSeniorFinancialAnalystFP&Abased in ourHead Officelocationin Burnaby.

As aSeniorFinancialAnalystFP&Ayoull play a pivotal role inleading a team of analystsinbusinesspartneringwithoperationalDirectors/Executivesacross BCAA. Leading these teams youllprepareannualbudgetsmonthlyforecastslongrange plans special projects andscenario analysis and presentingconclusions andrecommendations to management teams.

What youll do:

  • Leading a team of analystsinmonthly forecasting processes(P&L Cash Flow Other Operational Metrics) leveragingfinancial planning software(Workday Adaptive Planning) andbusiness partnering with Directors/Executives in operational areas across BCAA(InsuranceEvo Car Share Evolve E-Bike Share and RoadsideAssistance).

  • Analyze monthly data and assist in production of commentary tothe Executive teamwhich includes identifying key risks and opportunities for the business budget to actual variance commentary and recommendations on forecasted performance for products and business units.

  • Supportswithboardof director andexecutive reporting.

  • Reviewand buildcapital expenditure project proposals.

  • Develop and manage analytical tools and processes to improve the quality and transparency of financial results and forecasts.

  • Knowledge ofPowerBIand Workday Adaptive Planningto supportbusiness area tracking and reporting of operational data andkey performance indicators.

  • Excellent interpersonal skillsand strongabilitiestowork andbuild relationships with a diverse groupat all levels of the organization.

  • Present analysis conclusions and recommendations via presentations and in written form.

What you bring:

  • Bachelors degree in Commerce Business or Economics or equivalent with emphasis on quantitative analysis and methods.

  • 5years of experience infinancial analysis and reporting in a complex and changing environment.

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 software(Excel). Knowledge ofWorkdayAdaptive Planningand Power BIan asset.

  • CPAorCFAdesignation(or equivalent education/professional accounting designation MBA CA CGA or CMA).

The salary range for this position is $91185.84 to $113982.36 and is determined viajob-related knowledge skills experience certifications market demand and internal addition to base salary and BCAA benefits this position is eligible for a performance bonus target of 9% with the opportunity to earn up to 15%.

Please note that this is a permanent salaried position. This role is a hybrid role based out of our Burnaby BC office (3 on-site / 2 remote days). Applicants who are not located within commuting distance of our Head Office or are not looking to relocate to the Greater Vancouver/Lower Mainland/Fraser Valley region will not be considered.
