Senior Software Technologist-Power BI

Job Summary:

The BI Developer designs develops and maintains business intelligence solutions that support data-driven decision-making in a healthcare SaaS environment. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy accessibility and usability for clinical and operational stakeholders. AI integration is increasingly central to this role enabling predictive analytics anomaly detection and dynamic reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Modeling & Visualization

• Expertise in designing dashboards and reports using Power BI Tableau or Looker
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights

1. SQL & Query Optimization

• Strong command of SQL for data extraction and transformation

1. Experience optimizing queries for performance and scalability
2. Cloud Data Platforms

• Familiarity with Snowflake AWS Azure or Google Cloud
• Understanding of cloud-native data architecture

1. Healthcare Data Standards & Compliance

• Knowledge of HIPAA HL7 FHIR and healthcare interoperability protocols
• Ability to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance

1. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Agile Delivery

• Effective communication with clinical operational and technical teams
• Experience working in agile development environments

Required Qualifications:

Education & Experience

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field

8 years of experience in BI development preferably in healthcare SaaS
Experience integrating AI into BI workflows is highly desirable
