Live Chat Support Agent E-commerce $400$600 USD/month Fully Remote
Location: Fully remote you can be based anywhere in the world
Hours: Shift-based morning or afternoon shifts covering UK and US hours
Salary: $400$600 USD/month
Contract: Full-time permanent

Remote World is partnering with a UK-based fashion marketplace to hire for this role. They connect independent clothing brands with over 500000 active buyers and handle thousands of orders every day great support is what keeps buyers coming back and sellers trusting the platform.
The role
Youll be on the front line of the customer experience handling live chat and email queries from buyers about orders returns and deliveries. Youll resolve issues quickly escalate anything complex and leave every customer feeling heard.
What youll do
- Handle inbound live chat and email queries from buyers and sellers
- Resolve order issues including delays missing items and returns
- Process refund and exchange requests following platform policy
- Escalate disputes and complex cases to the specialist team with full context
- Flag recurring issues to help improve platform policies and FAQs
What youll need
- Clear friendly written English you communicate with warmth and confidence
- Fast typist comfortable managing several chat conversations at once
- Calm under pressure when queues are busy and customers are frustrated
- Reliable and punctual for your shift
Nice to have
- Previous live chat or e-commerce support experience
- Familiarity with Gorgias Freshdesk or Zendesk
- Understanding of basic e-commerce order and returns workflows
