Tekberry is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Buyer II to support procurement and strategic sourcing activities within a dynamic supply chain environment. This is a contract position focused on purchase order management supplier coordination and procurement operations.
Position Summary
The Buyer II will support Strategic Sourcing and procurement teams by managing purchase orders coordinating with suppliers tracking project deliverables and ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services. This role provides exposure to capital procurement processes and offers strong development opportunities within supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Administrative Support Support day-to-day sourcing activities in collaboration with Strategic Sourcing Managers Manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders including pricing lead times and delivery requirements Track and resolve issues related to purchase orders supplier performance and payments Coordinate with Shared Services on PO processing invoice handling and issue resolution
Supplier & Project Coordination Communicate with suppliers to confirm orders track schedules and ensure timely delivery Assist in resolving invoice discrepancies and order fulfillment issues Support supplier onboarding documentation and compliance processes Track procurement deliverables milestones and project documentation
Data Compliance & Continuous Improvement Maintain procurement records order logs and spend tracking data Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and approval processes Assist with sourcing support activities such as quote collection and cost comparisons Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to procurement processes and data accuracy
Qualifications
Required: Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) in Business Supply Chain Engineering Finance or related field Prior experience supporting procurement or supply chain functions Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Outlook Word) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
