Material Buyer Procurement Planning Coordinator

Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Supply Chain Specialist to work on-site with our client a top-tier Fortune 500 electronic manufacturing company. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire lifecycle of purchase orders from creation and delivery to invoicing and closure.
• Keep internal partners informed on delivery status pricing and potential issues that might impact deliverables.
• Negotiate pricing with suppliers to maximize cost savings minimize unnecessary expenditures and ensure new product introductions are financially viable.
• Establish and nurture strong relationships with suppliers to ensure long-term collaboration and mutual success.
• Execute Keysights global supply chain strategy while integrating unique insights to meet the specific needs of internal customers.
• Translate assembly drawings bills of materials and build plans into actionable and executable purchase plans.
• Review and negotiate Confidential Disclosure Agreements (CDAs) and Statements of Work (SOWs) with suppliers as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated proactive communication and a customer-centric mindset.
• Proven experience in commodity management procurement or supply chain management.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms optimize cost savings and ensure the timely procurement of high-quality materials.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook Excel PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Oracle R12 Procurement / ERP Experience.
• Experience writing and managing contracts.
• Possess sufficient technical expertise to interpret and understand specifications on technical drawings.
