Job Summary
Job Summary Scrum Master
- Coach and mentor Product Delivery Team on Agile and Scrum best practices.
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups Sprint Planning Reviews Retrospectives).
- Remove impediments and roadblocks to ensure smooth team progress.
- Shield the team from external distractions and manage project scope.
- Coordinate and communicate between Product Owner Business Analysts IT Delivery External Developer and Data teams.
- Track and report on Sprint burndown team velocity release health defect trends and overall team health.
- Maintain and organize the teams Azure DevOps board ensuring epics features and stories/bugs are up to date.
- Monitor story point allocations team capacity and resource balancing.
- Follow up daily with developers to track user story progress assess risks and clear blockers.
- Escalate unresolved issues to Product Owner and facilitate meetings to resolve them.
- Support production deployments by tracking stories through completion.
- Collaborate with Product Owner to align on sprint goals objectives and priorities.
- Work with Business Analysts to ensure user stories are detailed and sprint-ready.
- Create and maintain reports and dashboards (e.g. bugs per sprint feature status) as needed.
- Foster continuous improvement and high-performance team culture.
- Demonstrate advanced negotiation communication and collaborative team-building skills.
- Apply knowledge of Agile Program Management SAFe SDLC risk/stakeholder management and data-driven decision making.
- Preferred: Agile/SAFe certifications (e.g. PMP Agile/SAFe Agile).
