Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced AGM – Engineering Head to lead and manage engineering functions for a USFDA-regulated OSD (Oral Solid Dosage) manufacturing facility. The role will be responsible for ensuring high equipment reliability regulatory compliance and efficient plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the engineering & maintenance function for OSD manufacturing operations.
- Ensure maximum uptime and reliability of production equipment (granulation compression coating packing lines).
- Drive preventive & predictive maintenance programs.
- Handle utility systems (HVAC water systems compressed air etc.) in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Ensure compliance with USFDA WHO and other regulatory guidelines.
- Lead qualification & validation activities (IQ OQ PQ) for equipment and utilities.
- Manage breakdown maintenance and implement root cause analysis (RCA) and CAPA.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (cost reduction energy efficiency automation).
- Lead and develop the engineering team ensuring capability building and performance management.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Production QA EHS) for smooth plant operations.
- Manage vendor development AMC contracts and project execution.
- Ensure adherence to EHS and safety standards.
