Engineering Staff Intern

Brief Job Summary:
The Engineering Staff Intern is responsible for reviewing and updating work instructions maintaining operational support documents and supporting database and skillmatrix systems used by operations. This role assists engineering teams with a variety of tasks ensuring that documentation is accurate accessible and aligned with operational needs.

• Review current controlled documents
• Maintain work instructions within the Work Instruction Cockpit
• Collect format and update data as required
• Support maintenance of the AG5 Skill Matrix application
• Ensure updated revisions are available and accessible to operations

• Assist engineering staff with projectrelated tasks
• Participate in team meetings and provide progress updates
• Complete administrative functions as requested by the Coordinator

• Ensure work area cleanliness following Rittals 6S standards
• Work safely and comply with all health safety security and emergency requirements
• Communicate any safety hazards or potential hazards to management
• Maintain good attendance and work ethic
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• Basic understanding of business software and applications
• Participation in businessrelated coursework preferred
• Basic computer skills including MS Office and SAP
• Strong criticalthinking skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Ability to stand walk bend twist and reach frequently during the work shift
• Ability to work at a computer and keyboard throughout the shift

• Ability to stay focused in a demanding environment
• Adaptability to changing assignments
• Ability to multitask and learn office procedures and new software
• Strong attention to detail with effective oral and written communication skills

• Wear safetytoed footwear safety glasses with side shields hearing protection and other PPE as required

• Complete directives given verbally or in writing
• Assist in making logical decisions when needed
