Job Description:
This job is responsible for driving and executing on internal control discipline and operational excellence within a Line of Business (LOB) or Enterprise Control Function (ECF). Key responsibilities include providing analytical and administrative support for LOB or ECF specific processes and tools to drive adherence to enterprise-wide standards. Job expectations include monitoring and testing controls and implementing quality assurance and quality control processes within the LOB or ECF by evaluating data to help identify track and report issues and control improvements for remediation.

The candidate will support the Specialized Consumer Client Solutions organization to create a best-in-class overall client experience and risk controls environment. The role will focus on providing a high level of service to clients & internal partners mitigating risk and supporting controls across the line of business and Enterprise. The candidate will be comfortable navigating a complex organization while developing relationships that are necessary to achieve client resolution. The desired candidate will need to thrive in a fast-pace environment have a basic understanding of investment accounts and possess a committed focus on meeting client needs and always exceeding expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Detect research and action matters that may be highly sensitive and/or complex working with Fraud partners across Consumer Investments and other lines of business to ensure a strong emphasis on risk management regulatory compliance and also supporting an outstanding client experience.
  • Responsibilities include fraud detection and risk related processing: terminated accounts account restrictions and other fraud or risky transactions.
  • Partner with key business stakeholders across Specialized Consumer Client Solutions Consumer Investments as well as other Enterprise partners from Wealth Management Fraud (i.e. Client Investigations Online Fraud Claims). GIS and GFC.
  • Assist with routine and ad hoc fraud detection reports (i.e. restrictions terminations) projects training and trend identification as they relate to Operational Losses and Risk Appetite.
  • Support additional Specialized Consumer Client Solutions related processes including: Consumer Investments Fraud Management (CIFM).
  • Oversees the design and effectiveness of the risk and control environment to support Client Operational Services and ensure adherence to enterprise-wide standards
  • Supports the monitoring and testing of controls by evaluating data to identify issues and control improvements for remediation
  • Implements optimized controls and enhanced Quality Assurance (QA) practices to support business continuity efforts
  • Conducts and coordinates quality inspection reviews to enhance employee performance and control effectiveness
  • Performs QA activities including executing on controls managing cases and reporting results
  • Executes initiatives by identifying areas of potential testing automation procedural updates thematic trends test script updates and coaching opportunities to enhance QA program success
  • Supports the overall management of and research required for regulatory exams internal audits and other monitoring and inspection reviews and evaluates data and information relevant to inspection metrics to support governance activities for dashboard reporting

Required Qualifications:

  • Understanding of Consumer Investments clients and business products and services including but not limited to; account types investments distribution process and fraud.
  • Demonstrated strong problem solving follow up skills and ability to escalate and gain resolution as needed
  • Self-starter able to work independently with minimal oversight and guidance
  • Ability to quickly develop subject matter expertise across a broad spectrum of issues
  • Strong organization skills including the ability to manage multiple responsibilities prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • 1 years of work experience in financial services
  • Must be proficient in MS Excel Word
  • Knowledge of PowerPoint and other Office Suite products including Copilot

Desired Qualifications:

  • Ability to shift priorities on a daily basis with short notice
  • Fraud/Risk background
  • Series 7/66 preferred
