Job Title:Principal Engineer Rotating Equipment

Description:Serve as a resident company Subject Matter Expert providing advice and guidance on Rotating Equipment system engineering issues. Specify and review equipment designs selections ratings and specifications for new LNG projects including existing equipment modifications. Update and maintain corporate engineering specifications for rotating equipment. Lead in developing and recommending solutions to solve LNG plant machinery technical issues. Provide work direction technical advice and mentoring to teammates and junior engineers. Participate in Hazards and Operability (HAZOP) reviews design reviews and safety assessments. Ensure compliance with industry standards including API and ASME. Witness rotating equipment testing such as mechanical run tests and performance tests. Provide assistance in the field during plant startups shutdowns or upsets. Provide day-to-day Rotating Equipment and Mechanical systems support to the Maintenance & Operations teams to ensure continued operability of plant equipment. Provide advanced diagnostic support to allow rapid production recovery in the event of equipment failure and forced plant outage. Requires a Professional Engineering License.
