As a Security Officer Patrol in Palm Coast FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer at a busy retail location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming experience through strong customer service and this role you will work with a team that values agility reliability innovation and integrity while putting people first every day.

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients visitors and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and report unusual activity maintenance concerns and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor entrances parking areas receiving zones and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
• Monitor customer and employee traffic patterns assist with access control practices for restricted areas and support crowd management during busy shopping periods and/or special events.
• Document routine activities incidents and/or observations in required reports and communicate with store leadership and Allied Universal personnel regarding security-related concerns and response needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
