GRS Recruiting has partnered with a leading hydraulic manufacturer to identify a driven Business Development Manager to support continued growth across key markets. This is a highly visible high-impact role focused on new business development and expanding market presence across multiple industries including Oil and Gas energy and mobile applications.
This position is ideal for a motivated hands-on sales professional who thrives in building relationships identifying new opportunities and navigating complex distribution and OEM channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business development and customer acquisition across national markets
- Identify and penetrate new industries and competitors through strategic prospecting
- Collaborate with internal sales teams and external partners to grow market share
- Engage with existing customers to uncover new opportunities and capabilities
- Manage distributor relationships and resolve channel conflicts effectively
- Support long-term growth initiatives including expansion into mobile and energy sectors
Requirements
- Based in or near Houston TX preferred with flexibility for strong candidates in Texas or nationwide
- Strong background in fluid power hydraulics or related industries; accumulators experience is a plus
- Experience in OEM sales and working with distribution networks
- Proven success in new business development and customer acquisition
- Ability to travel nationally and internationally as needed
- Familiarity with Oil and Gas and exposure to additional industries such as mobile hydraulics or energy
- Experience managing multiple distributors and navigating competitive sales environments
- Strategic thinker with a plan-oriented mindset and a proven track record of results
