Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality patient-centered care in a fast-paced critical care environment. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to respond effectively to rapidly changing patient conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit
Continuously monitor assess and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
Administer medications including IV therapy and conscious sedation
Perform clinical procedures such as IV insertion and phlebotomy
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records
Ensure compliance with hospital protocols safety standards and regulatory requirements
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and ongoing care
Required Experience & Skills
Minimum 2 years of ICU or Critical Care nursing experience
At least 2 years of experience with conscious sedation
Strong proficiency in IV insertion and phlebotomy
Ability to work effectively in high-acuity fast-paced settings
Education Requirements
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) from an accredited institution
Certifications & Licensure
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (State of New York)
Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association (AHA)
