About the opportunity Are you looking for a role where your organisational skills keep things moving As our Administration Officer youll play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet and workshop services. This is a fantastic short-term opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment enjoys variety and wants to make a real impact supporting essential council operations.

You will make an impact by

  • Administering fleet management systems and maintaining accurate records.
  • Coordinating service bookings repairs and warranty work for council vehicles.
  • Preparing reports purchase orders and assisting with procurement processes.
  • Providing responsive customer service to internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Supporting business improvement initiatives and contributing to a collaborative team culture.

What you will bring

  • Strong administration skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a small close-knit team.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with fleet systems or council IT platforms is an advantage.
  • A current Victorian Driver Licence.
  • Interest in fleet operations or vehicles is a bonus!
