Our Interventional Radiology team delivers highquality minimally invasive care in a fastpaced collaborative environment. Nurses partner closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams gaining exposure to advanced technology while building strong procedural and criticalthinking skills.

How youll contribute

AnInterventional Radiology RNwho excels in this role:

• Performs plan-of-care interventions including medication administration specimen collection clinical treatments and related medical care.
• Documents care provided in a timely accurate manner.
• Monitors records and communicates patient condition to the care team physicians patients and families.
• Assists with activities of daily living (hygiene elimination nutrition ambulation).
• Displays initiative and flexibility to float throughout the building to support departments and staff.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate care (transfers discharges referrals psychosocial/spiritual support).
• Assesses learning needs; provides age- and culture-appropriate patient/family education.
• Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
• Participates in performance improvement and required education; works other shifts/units as needed and may take on-call assignments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What were looking for

Applicants should have a current Michigan RN license and possess an associates degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelors preferred).

Additional requirements include

• Basic Life SupportHealth Care Provider (BLS-HCP)

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (within 1 year)
