Our primary needs are currently 2nd & 3rd work at MCC:Compensation: $19.71 - $20.75 hourlyShift Differentials: 2nd:$1.50 & 3rd: $1.85Generous benefits package: including medical dental vision disability life insurance and 401(k)Paid Holidays: New Years Memorial Day Fourth of July Labor Day Thanksgiving Day after Thanksgiving Christmas Eve Christmas Day plus two floating holidaysPress Room (General Laborer) West HenriettaSafety & Policy Compliance: Comply with all company policies procedures and safety requirements to ensure a safe and efficient work Execution & Changeovers: Attain and maintain defined job objectives related to the planning and execution of production jobs and support quick changeover activities between label -Ready & Cleanup Support: Assist with all external make-ready operations prior to job changeovers and perform external cleanup activities following Support Activities: Clean ink pans and ancillary equipment strip plates from cylinders and locate and transport dies to and from the press as Assurance: Comply with MCC and customer quality assurance specifications. Assist with quality inspections including viewing labels with a strobe light alongside the press operator when : Complete quality assurance sheets and any associated production or quality documentation accurately and in a timely & Workspace Care: Maintain cleanliness of machinery and organization of the assigned work Flexibility: Work overtime when needed based on operational demands and production Duties: Perform related duties and provide support to operations as (General Laborer) Rochester Tech Park Safety First: Safety is priority #1 at MCC Label. Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to Support: Perform a variety of tasks to support production safety quality and productivity including assisting operators as needed and participating in special projects or other duties as Assurance Tasks: Perform basic quality checks verify order quantities ensure proper product identification and take precautions to prevent product Handling & Packaging: Prepare packaging materials separate acceptable and nonconforming products verify quantities stack cartons properly on pallets and supply production or finishing areas with materials as : Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned departments and warehouse areas; regularly empty trim and waste & Teamwork: Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing complete required paperwork accurately listen actively seek feedback and remain flexible and open-minded while working as part of a & Experience: High school diploma or GED required. Entry-level role; no prior experience required. Print or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required. An equivalent combination of education training and experience will be Skills: Basic computer math and reading skills required including the ability to read and understand job tickets measurements and rulers (standard and metric).Communication & Teamwork: Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Works well in a team environment with a strong sense of urgency to meet Ethic & Performance: Self-motivated dependable and able to follow instructions. Demonstrates the ability to complete assigned tasks while maintaining a high standard of performance. Assertive solution-focused and able to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced Requirements: Ability to stand and move throughout the production area for extended periods. Frequent walking required; occasional climbing balancing stooping kneeling crouching or Requirements: Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 Requirements: Vision correctable to 20/20 if required.
