  • Permanent roles Full Time and Part Time (0.50.6 FTE)
  • Flexible hybrid environment minimum 2 days per week in the office
  • $115K $120K super salary packaging (pro rata dependent on experience)
  • Melbourne CBD or regional Victorian office (with travel required)

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and valuesdriven Injury Management Business Partner to promote and embed our Early Intervention and Injury Management Framework. This role plays a critical part in building a preventionfocused safety culture reducing workplace injury and illness improving WorkCover outcomes and supporting timely sustainable returntowork for our people.

While the role is anchored to our Collins Street office we offer flexible hybrid working and are open to candidates based at regional Victorian locations. Regular travel to metropolitan and regional sites is a core part of this role.

Key Responsibilities

As a trusted Injury Management Business Partner you will:

  • Implement and continuously improve Berry Street Yoorallas Early Intervention and Injury Management Framework partnering with internal and external stakeholders to uplift organisational capability.
  • Lead and coordinate responses to workplace incidents ensuring timely compassionate and compliant injury management practices.
  • Foster a strong early intervention culture supporting leaders to identify and respond to risks early.
  • Manage endtoend injury management and returntowork processes including complex and psychosocial claims.
  • Partner closely with the Senior Manager Injury Management WHS Business Partners and leaders to ensure consistent bestpractice application of injury management and recoveryatwork strategies.
  • Contribute to risk mitigation strategies particularly in relation to Occupational Violence and Aggression (OVA) and other highrisk WHS exposures.


About You

You are a proactive empathetic and highly skilled Injury Management professional who is passionate about keeping people safe supported and well at work. You are confident partnering with leaders in complex environments and navigating WorkCover WHS and psychosocial risk requirements with professionalism and care.

You will bring:

  • Bachelor qualifications in allied health sciences or related field.
  • Solid experience in injury management and workers compensation including endtoend case management of complex and psychosocial claims.
  • Strong knowledge of the principles and practices of best practice occupational rehabilitation.
  • Experience supporting psychosocial and mental health injuries with empathy compassion and a recoveryfocused approach.
  • A sound understanding of contemporary WHS legislation and best practice including the evolving psychosocial risk landscape.
  • Experience working in highrisk environments including exposure to Occupational Violence and Aggression (OVA) will be highly regarded.
