What youll do
Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:
Litigation Support:
- Support attorneys in a broad range of commercialconsumer labor & employment and other litigationmattersfrominitialfiling throughresolution;
- Lead andcoordinate discovery-related work including litigation hold implementation document collection custodian outreach document organizationandproductionworkflows;
- Assistwith preparing and reviewing written discovery materialsand support depositionpreparation;
- Serve as a liaison between outside counsel in-house counsel e-Discovery vendors and internal business partners tofacilitatetimelyand defensible collection and production of documents anddata;
- Maintain matter files deadlines and reporting metrics in electronic matter-management and document managementsystems;
- Undertakeinternal leadership responsibilities including but not limited to teaching training coaching and supporting all members of theLitigation and Labor and Employmentteams as well as preparing and conducting trainings on relevant litigation topics for other business units;
- Researching gathering organizingpreparingand summarizing relevant materials for use by the teamin a broad range of labor and employment andgenerallitigationmatters;
- Coordinate the signatures of legal documentsin accordance witha definedprocess;
- Review and draft varioustypeof agreements andcorrespondencein accordance withdefined rules andchecklists and under supervision and training ofattorneys;
- Assistcounsel in preparing materials for mediation/arbitration;
- Assistwith the identification and summarizing of relevant issues;and
- Continuallymonitorcaseissues andupdateattorneys asappropriate.
Location & Travel Expectations:
- This role may be based out of theScout Motors corporate headquarters in Charlotte NC.
- This role requires 4-5 days per week in the office with regular in-person meetings and events.
- Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

- Bachelors degree ABA approved Paralegal Certificate preferred;
- At least five (5) years Paralegal experience;
- A strong understanding ofgenerallitigation;
- Ability toexercise discretion andmaintainconfidentiality of sensitiveinformation;
- Knowledge of legal holds and discoveryprocess;
- Expert experienceidentifying collecting and preserving digital and physicalevidence;
- Ability toidentify prioritize and solve problems effectivelyregardingbasicmatters;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsas well asa strongattention todetail;
- Basic budget management skills and ability toreview invoices consistent with our billingguidelines;
- Strong interpersonal skills advanced written and oral communicationskills;
- Adapts well to change;
- Able to multi-task and make effective decisions in a fast-paced deadline-drivenenvironment;and
- A proactive self-starter whois able tomanage his/her time effectively and work independently.

Pay Transparency
This is a full-time non-exempt position eligible to receive an hourly pay rate and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final hourly pay rate offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidates skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
Initial Base Salary Range: $90000.00 - $112500.00
Internal Leveling Code: S11
