As Maintenance Program and Planning Manager you will lead the development and governance of maintenance for Ground Support Equipment (GSE) across 50 locations globally. Youll be accountable for ensuring all assets are maintained in full compliance with CASA WHS and local regulatory requirements while optimising cost reliability and operational performance.

This is a senior leadership role within Group Assets and Services where youll work closely with a wide range of stakeholders including Engineering Freight Airports and Safety across all Group airline business to deliver standardised best practice maintenance and support the delivery of significant transformation outcomes for the Group.

What youll be doing

  • Lead and develop a specialist maintenance program and planning team fostering a collaborative safety first and customer centric culture
  • Own the end-to-end maintenance programs for nonflying assets across their full lifecycle balancing safety compliance cost and operational risk
  • Manage asset information systems processes and reporting to deliver a data driven approach to maintenance governance optimisation and improvement
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focusing on maintenance efficiency effectiveness and the supporting systems and processes
  • Partner with internal customers to deliver agreed service levels and minimise operational risk while enabling on time performance
  • Support operational teams and suppliers with the delivery of maintenance plans and interaction with asset information systems
  • Manage risks through effective CRMS and ERMS frameworks and timely escalation to senior leaders

What youll bring

  • 10 years experience in asset management maintenance engineering or planning within a complex regulated environment
  • Experience using Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Maintenance Information Systems for management of physical assets
  • Strong understanding of WHS safety and regulatory frameworks ideally within aviation or heavy asset industries
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to engage technical teams and senior stakeholders
  • A track record of delivering sustainable change transformation or operational improvement
  • Strong analytical commercial and communication skills with the ability to balance risk cost and operational outcomes
