Job Summary
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) ICU
Location: New York NY 10037
Contract Duration: 14 Weeks
Shift & Schedule:
- Night Shift: 7:30 PM 8:00 AM
- 34.5 hours per week
- 3 shifts per week (11.5 hours per shift)
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient-centered care in a fast-paced critical care environment. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills the ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations and a commitment to excellence in patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
- Monitor patient conditions and assess vital signs labs and response to treatment
- Administer medications including conscious sedation as required
- Perform IV insertions and phlebotomy procedures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of ICU / Critical Care experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience with:
- Conscious Sedation
- IV Insertion
- Phlebotomy
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN or ADN) from an accredited program
- Active New York State RN License
- License verification through NYSED
Certifications Required
- AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)
- AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
