Job Summary

OPS - Sponsored Projects Non-Clerical

Job Description:

Job Duties are as follows:

  • Assist Research Regulatory Specialist in Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval functions including creation of approval letters

  • Maintains verbal and written communication with Principal Investigators regarding the status of pending protocols and review

  • Assist in problem solving issues with study teams where feasible

  • Acts as Liaison between reviewers and principal investigators

  • Answer phones/emails/Salesforce

  • Generates correspondence regarding research protocols.

  • Evaluating IRB proposals

  • Other duties as assigned

Expected Salary:
$15.00 $18.00 per hour; Commensurate with education and experience
Required Qualifications:
A high school diploma and five years of appropriate experience. Appropriate college coursework may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
Preferred:
  • BA/BS
  • Prioritizing varying workload
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Tact in dealing with people
  • Knowledge of UF IRB policy and procedures helpful

This is not a remote work position and it is located on the University of Florida main campus in Gainesville FL.
