Assistant Coach, Field Hockey

Job Summary
Skidmore Colleges Athletic Fitness and Recreation Department invites applicants for a part-time regular (9 month) Assistant Field Hockey Coach position. Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting in daily practice preparation and training coaching recruiting prospective student athletes scouting opponents and other duties as assigned by the head assistant will communicate and develop a rapport with student-athletes families faculty and alumni. The position will also include facility home game management and/or equipment room responsibilities during the academic year.
Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelors Degree required. Collegiate field hockey coaching and/or playing experience required. Candidates must have strong organizational interpersonal communication and computer skills. A valid drivers license and CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain) are required. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings weekends and extended travel.
Anticipated start date will be August 15 2026.
Anticipated Salary will be $15000
