Come make a real difference as our Lead Stock Condition Surveyor.

As our Lead Stock Condition Surveyor youll help us understand the condition of our tenants homes as we deliver this for people across Gloucestershire and the Forest of Dean.

Youll lead and coordinate our stock condition survey programme using your experience to make sure the process runs smoothly and that we collect high-quality data.

Managing our team of surveyors youll oversee the quality assurance (QA) processes and provide analysis to inform investment planning and compliance. Youll also support activities as part of the wider asset management team.

What youll bring to our team

A confident leader with strong technical surveying expertise and experience delivering stock condition surveys youll be able to guide your team and help them grow.

Youll have the right knowledge and qualifications to providing sound building pathology advice and preparing schedules of work specifications and reports.

Youll have a clear understanding of health and safety CDM regulations and contractor compliance alongside experience undertaking EPCs HHSRS inspections and disrepair investigations.

Customer-focused and collaborative youll work effectively with stakeholders while supporting operational planning risk management and budget awareness. Youll act as a positive brand ambassador and remain flexible in responding to changing operational needs.

What were looking for

Significant experience in building defect identification and stock condition surveying - Essential.

Knowledge of building construction maintenance and building pathology -Essential.

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills - Essential.

Ability to work independently and manage workload - Essential.

Experience with PAS 2035 Desirable

Understanding of party wall matters Desirable.

Qualifications

Construction-related degree or equivalent - Essential.

Domestic Energy Assessment qualification Essential.

HHSRS qualification Essential.

CDM Regulation knowledge Essential.

Professional accreditation (RICS CIOB) Desirable.

P405 Asbestos Management Desirable.

SMSTS Desirable.

NEBOSH Construction Health & Safety Management Desirable
