Operational Transformation Specialist

Job Summary

Work in partnership with leadership and various operational teams and organizational departments to oversee small to medium functional projects or phases(s) of a larger project. Builds relationships with leaders at all levels of the region including clinicians front-line care teams and other stakeholders to assess and enhance systems to produce optimal organizational process outcomes. This position serves as a facilitator of change management and project management principles and methodologies to address opportunities for improvement while promoting stakeholder engagement in solution development.

Essential Functions

• Oversees small to medium sized multi-faceted projects varying in complexity and involving cross functional experts. These projects may be a portion or phase of a larger project or program.
• Coordinates project work including project plans and schedules and completes projects on time and within budget. Analyzes and documents processes procedures and outcomes to seek continuous improvement. Assesses resource requirements for project tasks and works with leaders of functional areas and subject matter experts to meet project plan deliverables.
• Communicates collaborates networks and acts as a consultant to stakeholders/business partners in order to ensure continuity and coordination of services and appropriate utilization of resources.
• Serves as a liaison for projects between various departments within the system.
• Acts as a change agent to advance the knowledge and use of project management.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelors Degree in related field.
• 2 years of relevant experience of applicable business function experience or other related experience.
• 2 years of relevant experience of related experience preferably in project management.

Preferred

• Masters Degree in related field.
• Relevant industry standard certification in Six Sigma Black Belt Project Management Healthcare.
• Management Engineering or equivalent experience.
