IT Asset Management Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete lifecycle of IT assets including acquisition deployment maintenance refresh and retirement.

• Ensuretimelyrefresh of hardware as it approaches end-of-support or end-of-life.

• Maintainaccurateand up-to-date records of all IT assets in the clients CMDB.

• Ensure asset data integrity and compliance with organizational policies.

• Manage inventory of PCs peripherals printers network switches routers firewalls wireless access points VoIP phones and video conferencing equipment.

• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for procurement and warranty support.

• Facilitate secure and compliant disposal of physical assets that are no longer in use or.

• Ensure proper data sanitization and environmental compliance during disposal.

• Follow best practices for asset lifecycle management.

Required Qualifications

• 0 years with BS/BA; 4 years no degree
• Familiarity with CMDB tools and ITIL practices.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of hardware lifecycle and vendor support policies.
• Ability to work collaboratively with IT and procurement teams.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance.

• ITIL Foundation
