How You Will Make an ImpactThe industrial Maintenance Technician (Mechanic) is responsible for ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on all production equipment including all fabrication equipment mechanical and hydraulic conveyor systems welding machines e-coating and powder coating Nuts and BoltsResponsible for observing and troubleshooting machinery malfunctionsMust be able to install machinery/equipment assemble and repair wiring electronic and electrical components plumbing piping hydraulic and pneumatic systemsResponsible for repairing / replacing defective or faulty equipment parts using hand tools and power toolsProvides regular preventative maintenance on machines and equipmentProvide emergency or unscheduled repairs if needed possibly requiring OT or weekend workRequired CredentialsPrior experience with machine maintenance in an industrial setting is requiredBasic industrial electrical knowledgeAbility to properly use a cutting torch read and follow prints and accurately read all types of measuring devicesGeneral knowledge of health safety and environmental regulations in industryAbility to climb stand bend lift heavy objects in awkward and confined spacesAbility to work in an industrial setting with exposure to fumes dust vibration noise heavy machinery high voltage with the use of appropriate protective / safety equipment.
