We are seeking a Surgical Services Preference Card Coordinator to:

  • Apply advanced perioperative clinical knowledge to support a centralized and standardized process to review the procedure file surgeons preference cards (DPCs) and the surgical equipment and supply lists.
  • Demonstrate understanding of surgical instrumentation supplies and workflows to maintain accurate supply pick lists and develop new preference cards in collaboration with perioperative leadership.
  • Utilize data analysis skills to identify opportunities for standardization cost savings waste reduction and improved operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from accredited school of nursing or accredited surgical technology program Required

Work Experience:

  • 2 years of operating room experience Required
  • Care Team Leader or Surgical Resource TechnicianExperiencePreferred

Certifications:

  • Registered Nurse or graduate of certified Surgical Technology program Required
  • Certified Nurse of the operation Room (CNOR) or Certified Surgical Technologist (CST). Preferred
