Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to support a short-term assignment within a rehabilitation and senior care setting in Sarasota Florida. This is a float position requiring flexibility to work across two assigned facilities while delivering high-quality patient-centered speech therapy services.

The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise the ability to adapt to different care environments and a commitment to improving communication and swallowing outcomes for a diverse patient population.

Work Schedule & Facility Assignment:

This is a structured float assignment between two locations in Sarasota:

• Monday Wednesday Friday: Aviva (Sarasota FL)
• Tuesday Thursday: Glenridge (Sarasota FL)
• Schedule: 5 days per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 32 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive speech language cognitive-communication and swallowing evaluations
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and physician referrals
• Provide direct therapy services to improve speech language cognitive and swallowing functions
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Maintain accurate timely and compliant clinical documentation
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary care teams including physicians nurses occupational therapists and physical therapists
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals progress and home exercise programs
• Ensure adherence to facility policies clinical guidelines and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications:

• Current and active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of Florida
• Strong clinical experience in adult rehabilitation skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred
• Ability to work independently across multiple facility locations
• Excellent communication documentation and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and adaptability in a float environment
