Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to support a short-term assignment within a rehabilitation and senior care setting in Sarasota Florida. This is a float position requiring flexibility to work across two assigned facilities while delivering high-quality patient-centered speech therapy services.
The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise the ability to adapt to different care environments and a commitment to improving communication and swallowing outcomes for a diverse patient population.
Work Schedule & Facility Assignment:
This is a structured float assignment between two locations in Sarasota:
Monday Wednesday Friday: Aviva (Sarasota FL)
Tuesday Thursday: Glenridge (Sarasota FL)
Schedule: 5 days per week
Guaranteed Hours: 32 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive speech language cognitive-communication and swallowing evaluations
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and physician referrals
Provide direct therapy services to improve speech language cognitive and swallowing functions
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
Maintain accurate timely and compliant clinical documentation
Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary care teams including physicians nurses occupational therapists and physical therapists
Educate patients and families on therapy goals progress and home exercise programs
Ensure adherence to facility policies clinical guidelines and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications:
Current and active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of Florida
Strong clinical experience in adult rehabilitation skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred
Ability to work independently across multiple facility locations
Excellent communication documentation and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills and adaptability in a float environment
