Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC isseeking a skilled and adaptable Registered Nurse (RN) for a Float Pool position. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient-centered care across multiple units while demonstrating strong clinical judgment flexibility and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assessment
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments including physical psychosocial and educational needs
- Monitor patient conditions and report any changes promptly
- Identify and mitigate safety risks for patients and the care environment
- Communicate effectively with healthcare teams using structured handoff methods
Planning and Diagnosis
- Develop and prioritize individualized patient care plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
- Establish measurable patient goals and initiate discharge planning
- Participate in shift reports and care planning discussions
Implementation
- Deliver evidence-based nursing care in accordance with established protocols
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Educate patients and families regarding care plans and recovery processes
- Respond efficiently to emergency situations
- Maintain infection control and patient safety standards
Evaluation
- Continuously evaluate patient progress and update care plans as necessary
- Ensure adherence to clinical standards and best practices

Education and Certifications
- Diploma in Nursing (required)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
- Active Ohio RN License or Compact License (required)
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (required)
