Whats the role
Youll play a key role in protecting our mortgages business by strengthening how we identify manage and respond to Fraud and Financial Crime risks across the end-to-end value chain.
This role is all about partnering with the business to make risk practical visible and embedded in everyday decisions while balancing customer needs and commercial outcomes.
Youll lead core elements of the Risk Management Framework for Fraud and Financial Crime from risk identification and control effectiveness through to incident management root cause analysis and thematic insights. Youll work closely with first- and second-line teams providing trusted advice supporting remediation activity and helping the business stay ahead of current and emerging risks.
This is a full-time role based in Sydney with flexible and hybrid working supported.
What do I need
- Experience working in risk compliance or legal roles within banking or financial services with exposure to Fraud and Financial Crime
- Strong understanding of risk frameworks controls and incident management
- Confidence partnering with stakeholders and influencing outcomes through change
- Ability to analyse issues identify root causes and support practical remediation
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience
