Account Manager

We are hiring an Account Manager for our Tokyo-based Japan team. As a core market in Asia Japan is central to our client base and business growth.

Join our international team and contribute to shape the next generation of commercial this position you will engage with clients to operationally assist them and provide comprehensive support for their day-to-day activities and business project to use Euroclear services.

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and clientfocused Account Manager to manage and grow relationships with Japanese this role you will act as the primary point of contact ensure client satisfaction identify new business opportunities and coordinate with internal teams to deliver highquality service. Experience in Custody and Settlement is required and knowledge of funds business is an advantage. A collaborative approach and positive attitude are also highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the main contact for an assigned portfolio of clients.
• Client interactions for any inquiries both in Japanese or English and with internal colleagues in Euroclear Belgium Poland and Hong Kong.
• Handle day-to-day inquiries from clients (mostly in Japan) via phone/email regarding all Euroclear services (settlement custody income/corporate actions money transferoffshore fund order routing etc.).
• Take end-to-end responsibilities of dedicated client relationship.
• Maintain pro-active relationships with key clients and seek for any new business opportunities.
• Handle the most complex customers orders inquiries and complaints. Proactively maintainrelationship with key customers.
• Handle customer service post-sales support operational issue resolution andserviceimplementation.
• Explain Euroclear services and any changes/enhancements to clients.
• Collaborate with the Account Management team and actively participate tomaintain the quality of service provided to clients.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of all Euroclear services regularly engage with clients (banks trust banks broker dealers custodians etc.) to understand their needs and clearly communicate these to relevant internal departments.
• Conduct client seminars/trainings.

• Ideally have working experience in banks/brokers in the financial market (operations ormiddle office or client service experience).

• Good presentation skills.
• Has strong self-learning skills and intellectual curiosity.
• Native Japanese and fluent in English.
• Willing to guide and assist new or less experienced staff.
