Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) to join a high-volume leading healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring proper decontamination sterilization assembly and distribution of surgical instruments and medical equipment in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform decontamination cleaning sterilization and packaging of surgical instruments
- Inspect instruments for cleanliness functionality and completeness
- Assemble surgical trays and ensure accuracy of instrument sets
- Operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves washers and related systems
- Maintain accurate documentation and tracking of sterilization processes
- Follow strict infection control safety and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with surgical and clinical teams to ensure timely instrument availability
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) experience
- Active certification required: CBSPD or HSPA/IAHCSMM
- Certification must be active and available at the time of submission
- Previous travel experience required (first-time travelers will not be considered)
