Description
Nashville General Hospital is hiring for a Full Time Shift Registered Nurse (RN) Med/Surg in Nashville Tennessee.
Nashville General Hospital seeks to hire a Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) for our Medical Surgical Unit who will embrace our commitment to providing quality care to every patient and family member. This is an 18-bed unit with a 4:1 patient ratio.
As a Med/Surg RN you will be responsible for:
- Admitting and assessing patients
- Administering medication and treatments
- Monitoring vital signs and symptoms
- Running and ordering tests
- Coordinating care with Physicians and Specialists
- Charting Patient Progress
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited associates in Nursing Program (or Diploma) Bachelors Degree in Nursing Preferred.
- Current Licensure or permit to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Tennessee or compact state.
- Employee must have valid BLS upon hire. ACLS Chemotherapy Competency and CPI are required within 90 days of hire.
