Provides comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the Director/Manager of the Department. May assume special responsibilities in preparing projects as designated. Able to set own priorities and deadlines and assumes full responsibility for the quality of own work in order to meet work expectations. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced ever-changing environment is essential.
Education/Experience: Must be a high school graduate with a minimum of 5 years comprehensive secretarial training or experience at the Executive Secretary or Administrative Assistant level preferably in a hospital setting as well as typing/computer skills.
Knowledge of MS Office Excel PowerPoint and spreadsheet applications. Requires outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to deal with multiple staff and management. Excellent organizational skills required and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Pay Range:
$18.50 - $22.55The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors that may include seniority education training relevant experience relevant certifications geographyof work location job responsibilities or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials call pay premium pay overtime pay and other additional pay practices as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
