Quality Assurance Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and ensure adherence to Quality Engineering (QE) guidelines standards and best practices across projects
• Collaborate with business stakeholders engineers and project teams to understand business requirements and technical specifications
• Review requirements and ensure clarity completeness and testability while driving requirement review sessions
• Prepare and oversee test strategies test plans and test case execution for functional and non-functional testing
• Manage defect tracking root cause analysis and resolution while ensuring quality standards are maintained
• Drive system integration testing end-to-end testing and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities
• Lead automation initiatives provide guidance on scripting and support troubleshooting where required
• Identify non-functional requirements and define NFR testing strategies including performance security and reliability
• Monitor QA deliverables timelines and ensure on-time project delivery
• Mentor and guide QA team members while managing escalations and continuous process improvements
• Ensure Agile/Scrum practices are followed and maintain effective stakeholder communication throughout the project lifecycle

Person Specifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with leadership responsibilities
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies testing concepts and quality assurance frameworks
• Hands-on experience in manual testing test planning and defect management
• Experience with automation testing scripting and troubleshooting is preferred
• Strong knowledge of test management tools such as Jira HPQC or similar platforms
• Good understanding of OOP concepts and software development lifecycle
• Strong analytical problem-solving leadership and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication stakeholder management and team collaboration abilities
• Strong understanding of Scrum Agile practices and delivery management
