Used Vehicle Buyer Acquisition Specialist

Lewiston Motor Company is looking for a motivated and strategic Used Vehicle Buyer / Acquisition Specialist to help us aggressively grow our pre-owned inventory. This role is responsible for sourcing appraising and purchasing quality vehicles from multiple channels including auctions online marketplaces service drive opportunities and direct consumer purchases.

Responsibilities:

• Source and acquire quality pre-owned vehicles from auctions private sellers online marketplaces and dealership trade networks
• Evaluate and appraise vehicles accurately using market data and vehicle condition
• Monitor market trends and pricing to ensure competitive purchasing strategies
• Purchase vehicles that align with dealership inventory needs and profit targets
• Build relationships with wholesalers auctions and private sellers
• Work closely with sales and management teams to maintain optimal inventory levels
• Follow all dealership purchasing policies and procedures
• Maintain proper documentation for vehicle purchases

Qualifications:

• Previous automotive experience preferred (sales appraisal wholesale or buying)
• Strong understanding of used vehicle values and market trends
• Ability to negotiate and close vehicle purchases effectively
• Familiarity with auction platforms and online vehicle marketplaces is a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Valid drivers license with clean driving record
