Recruitment Consultant Business Development Focus

Location: Colchester
Salary: uncapped commission
OTE: circa 60000

This is a growth-focused 360 recruitment role in the construction sector suited to someone who has done recruitment before and now wants the space to build properly.

The brief is simple: generate new business win clients and grow revenue. This is not a warm-desk maintenance role. The successful person will be expected to show initiative open doors and build their own client base with support around them when needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business through outbound activity meetings calls and networking.
  • Build and manage a client portfolio from scratch.
  • Run the full 360 recruitment lifecycle.
  • Identify commercial opportunities and act on them quickly.
  • Work with internal support to fulfil roles and deliver for clients.
  • Build a consistent pipeline and revenue stream for the Colchester office.

Candidate Profile

  • Previous experience in a 360 recruitment role.

  • Confident with business development and outbound activity.
