A company is seeking a Revenue Accountant (Temp) to support its accounting team during a critical period. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment diving into revenue processes and making an immediate impact.

Overview

This role focuses on revenue recognition reconciliations and supporting month-end close. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented hands-on and comfortable stepping in to support ongoing accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

Perform revenue recognition in accordance with GAAP
Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations
Support month-end close activities related to revenue
Analyze revenue trends and investigate variances
Assist with audit requests and documentation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on revenue-related matters

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
3 years of accounting experience with revenue exposure
Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles
Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
